We are a group of swing dancers from across East Anglia who decided it would be a great idea to get more dance out into the world at both private and community events. What is swing dance?

Swing dance is an umbrella term for a group of dance styles that originated in the 1920s. The roots of the dance come from African American influences and became hugely popular up until the 1950s when music tastes changed. If you are interested in the history of the dance you can find out more here.
